This lesson, based on John chapters 4 and 7, uses the example of buckets to explore some obstacles that prevent people from coming to Jesus, the Living Water. The four obstacles discussed in the lesson are: (1) cultural barriers, (2) intellectual barriers, (3) morality barriers, and (4) religious barriers. The lesson concludes with the question “What buckets are you holding onto?”
