This lesson begins a mini-series within the Kingdom series, which will be delving into the secrets we may glean from Jesus’ Kingdom parables. This first lesson is based on Matthew 13:44-46, which records the two parables of the treasure hidden in a field and the pearl of great value. Key concepts explored include the unexpected discovery, the recognition of the great value, and the finder’s willingness to sell all to obtain the treasure. The lesson concludes with the invitation to choose the kingdom of heaven.
