Trusting God and Peace
This lesson looks at the relationship between “the cycle of trust in God”, peace, and righteousness. This brief survey of some of the scriptural references to peace reveals several patterns: (1) we are to strive for peace with all men, (2) righteousness, holiness, and peace are intertwined in the Christian life, (3) the pattern of peace in contrast to discord is comparable to heavenly wisdom versus earthly wisdom, and (4) being a peace seeker produces a harvest of righteousness which is noticed by God. The lesson concludes with an invitation to respond to the message.
