This lesson, based on 2 Kings 17:24-41, looks at the lessons we can learn from the past failures of God’s people to stand solely on God’s word. The lessons we may learn include: (1) God’s expectations from his people, (2) standing in his word and will, (3) standing faithful to God, and (4) how to stand. The lesson concludes with the encouragement to commit to standing on God’s word and walking in his ways.
